Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the installation, configuration, and optimization of Synectics Synergy VMS.
  • Manage high-capacity servers, workstations, and storage arrays.
  • Program and commission a diverse fleet of IP cameras, including PTZ, Thermal, and Fixed units.
  • Architect and maintain the network backbone, configuring Cisco and Juniper switches for high-bandwidth video traffic.
  • Execute complex network tasks including VLAN segmentation, Multicast/IGMP snooping, and QoS prioritization.
  • Drive the deployment phase through Site Acceptance Testing (SAT) and produce comprehensive technical documentation and network diagrams.

We're working with a leading high-end security solutions provider on this exciting opportunity. We are seeking a high-caliber Network Engineer to spearhead a critical CCTV infrastructure project in the heart of Knightsbridge. This is a high-impact contract role requiring a specialist blend of IP surveillance expertise and advanced networking skills. You will be the technical lead for a sophisticated Synectics Synergy VMS environment, ensuring seamless video delivery and robust network performance across a prestigious site.

The Role

  • Lead the installation, configuration, and optimization of Synectics Synergy VMS, managing high-capacity servers, workstations, and storage arrays.
  • Program and commission a diverse fleet of IP cameras—including PTZ, Thermal, and Fixed units—using advanced analytics and custom firmware configurations.
  • Architect and maintain the network backbone, configuring Cisco and Juniper switches specifically for high-bandwidth video traffic.
