Summary: The role of Network Architect focuses on designing and implementing cellular network solutions, particularly small cells and Distributed Antenna Systems (DAS). The ideal candidate will possess multiple CCIE certifications and extensive experience in network security and automation. This position requires strong leadership and problem-solving skills, along with the ability to work collaboratively in a hybrid work environment. The contractor will be responsible for architecture, implementation, and documentation of complex telecom network projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Developing detailed network designs for cellular solutions, including IP connectivity, synchronization, security, and zero-touch provisioning.
- Leading hands-on lab and pilot deployments, configuring secure network tunnels, and managing security credentials.
- Creating thorough design documentation and providing hands-on support during deployments and operational issues.
Key Skills:
- Multiple CCIE certifications across various domains (Enterprise Infrastructure, Wireless, Service Provider, Data Centre, Security).
- 10+ years of hands-on experience in cellular network design and implementation.
- Expertise in network security, particularly with tools like Fortinet SecGW and PKI configurations.
- Experience in vendor coordination and working with Ericsson RAN systems.
