Summary: The Category Manager - Supply Chain role focuses on developing and executing strategic category strategies for supply chain solutions across various business units. This position requires close collaboration with senior internal stakeholders and external suppliers to manage procurement projects effectively. The role emphasizes strong negotiation skills and the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels to achieve optimal commercial outcomes. Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to establish a wave plan of procurement activity considering new business requirements and expiring contracts.
- Apply understanding of market dynamics and cost drivers.
- Create go-to-market strategies with business stakeholders.
- Engage and influence stakeholders to maximize the impact of the Category Strategy.
- Lead and execute complex high-value tenders.
- Lead commercial negotiations for complex deals.
- Lead contract drafting and negotiation with Legal teams.
- Develop Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) activities.
- Project manage procurement projects including risk management and contract governance.
- Manage, lead, and coach category specialists.
- Optimize the supplier base within the category.
- Establish strong relationships as a key business partner.
- Collaborate across the Procurement Function for stakeholder experience.
