Key Responsibilities:
- Lead a Casework Team with line management responsibility for HEO Civil Servants and task management of contingent workforce recruits.
- Make autonomous decisions in accordance with relevant Government Policy.
- Seek guidance from colleagues, senior staff, SMEs, and technical specialists when appropriate.
- Ensure sensitive information is handled in accordance with the Data Protection Act 2015.
- Address queries sensitively and respectfully, identifying needs for translation or interpretation.
- Analyze evidence and request further information from stakeholders as necessary.
- Provide advice and support to Casework, DARR, MOD, and cross-HMG stakeholders.
- Oversee the recording and utilization of casework data for management information and reporting.
- Ensure compliance with DARR governance protocols.
- Deputize for the relevant Assistant Head when required.
- Support the training and development of HEO caseworkers.

Oversee the recording and utilisation of casework data for various uses, including generating management information, providing statistics for internal and external reporting and in order to contribute to discussions on decision rates, flow rates and resource projections.
Adhere to and ensure that others are complying with DARR governance protocols.
Deputise for the relevant Assistant Head when required.
Support with the training and development of HEOs caseworkers
Essential Desirable Training
