CarPlay/AA Software Test Engineer

Introduction

As a CarPlay/AA Software Test Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and performance of software related to CarPlay and Android Auto (AA). You will work closely with the development team to test mobile applications and embedded systems to ensure they meet the highest standards.

Responsibilities

• Conduct software quality assurance testing for mobile applications and embedded systems, specifically focusing on CarPlay and Android Auto software.
• Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts to verify software functionality, performance, and reliability.
• Collaborate with developers to identify and troubleshoot software defects, and track issues using tools like Git, Xcode, and Jira.
• Provide feedback on software design and usability to improve user experience and overall product quality.
• Stay up-to-date on industry best practices and emerging technologies in mobile application and embedded system testing.

Requirements

Required Skills:

• Proficiency in Python, Swift, C, or Java for programming and scripting.
• Knowledge of CarPlay, Android Auto, and mobile application or embedded system testing.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with Android NDK, JNI, or iOS frameworks.
• Familiarity with tools like Git, Xcode, or Jira for software testing and issue tracking.
