We are seeking a Careers Assistant/Administrator to join our careers team at a faith school in Loughton. This role focuses on career progression and work experience coordination for students from Year 9 to Year 13, with potential engagement with younger years. This position is ideal for someone with strong administrative skills and an interest in career guidance and student development. Initially, this will be a temporary role with the potential to become permanent.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Coordinate and manage work experience placements, including handling requests and completing necessary paperwork.
- Maintain relationships with external organisations to facilitate work experience opportunities.
- Book and organise career guidance interviews for students.
- Provide administrative support for the careers team, including document management and scheduling.
- Engage with students to provide information and support regarding career opportunities and work experience.
- Assist in the development and implementation of career guidance programs.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Experience in an administrative role, preferably within an educational or careers guidance setting.
- Strong organisational and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively with both students and external partners.
- Proficient in managing multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Experience in handling confidential information.
- Enhanced DBS check on Update Service (ESSENTIAL)
