An exciting opportunity has become available for an aspiring healthcare scientist wishing to train in the speciality of Respiratory Physiology and form part of the regional community diagnostic centre. The post holder will undertake a 24-month training programme as a healthcare scientist level 4 apprentice within the University Hospitals of North Midlands NHS Trust. Formal training will be given to develop the skill and knowledge applied to respiratory physiology. Study will take place in partnership with a college provider.
This is a full-time post and there is an expectation that the apprentice will need to commit to self-directed study, attend college virtually and in person, and successfully complete the training programme within the contracted period. The post holder will undertake a 24-month training programme as a Healthcare Science Level 4 Apprentice. Formal training will be given where the successful candidate can learn and develop skills and knowledge relating to working in a respiratory physiology service by undertaking routine respiratory and cardiac diagnostic tests.
