Summary: The Camunda Tech Lead role involves driving the design and implementation of BPM solutions in a collaborative environment. The position requires providing technical leadership to a feature team while ensuring software delivery aligns with architectural standards and business objectives. The role is based in central London and requires on-site presence three days a week. The contract duration is between 6 to 12 months, with a pay rate of up to £425 per day inside IR35.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design and deployment of custom workflows using Camunda SaaS, Postgres connectors, job workers, service/user tasks
  • Foster an Open-Source delivery culture
  • Provide hands-on development and design support to in-house teams
  • Engineer performant, scalable software with a focus on user experience
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align on goals and solutions
  • Develop and deploy resilient, high-load applications with robust testing and benchmarking
  • Apply design patterns and engineering best practices
  • Contribute to the evolution of platform architecture and delivery processes

Key Skills:

  • Strong Java, SpringBoot (Data, Integration, Web), JPA background
  • Camunda 8 (SaaS), BPMN, JBPM expertise
  • Experience with SPAs and modern JavaScript (React.js)
  • Solid grasp of microservices and event-driven architecture
  • Familiarity with EAI patterns and enterprise integration
  • Git, JIRA, Confluence, Artifactory
  • Agile development principles and tooling
  • Domain-Driven Design and architectural modelling

We're seeking an experienced Camunda Tech Lead to drive the design and implementation of BPM solutions within a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
