Key Responsibilities:
- Calibrating, validating and verifying instruments to ISO 17025 standards
- Carrying out technical fault-finding, adjustments and repairs

- Working to defined calibration procedures and quality standards
- Communicating with customers and internal teams on calibration status
Key Skills:
- Experience in mechanical, dimensional or torque calibration
- Background in UKAS/ISO17025 calibration laboratory (highly desirable)
- Familiarity with manufacturing metrology or calibration services
- Comfortable using precision measurement tools
- Ability to work in a structured, accuracy-driven environment

Are you a mechanical or dimensional calibration specialist who enjoys working with precision measurement equipment? Do you take pride in accuracy, traceability and doing things properly?
We're supporting a well-established Telford Service Centre that calibrates and maintains precision mechanical and dimensional measuring equipment used across manufacturing, aerospace, automotive and engineering environments.
What you'll be working with
You'll be hands-on with equipment such as:
- Micrometers
- Verniers & calipers
- Dial & height gauges
- Torque wrenches & torque tools
- Pressure & displacement instruments
- Dimensional and mechanical fixtures
Most work is lab-based in Telford, with occasional customer site visits (typically less than 25%).
What you'll be doing
- Calibrating, validating and verifying instruments to ISO 17025 standards
