Summary: The CAD Technician role involves producing precise 2D and 3D drawings and models for the engineering industry using Autodesk software. The position requires collaboration with engineers and cross-functional teams to support product development and process improvement. Key Responsibilities:
- Producing accurate 2D and 3D drawings and models using Autodesk software including Inventor, Vault and AutoCAD
- Daily CAD administration including management of Autodesk Vault, templates, libraries and standards
- Supporting automation and process improvement through CAD tools and scripting
- Conducting quality reviews of drawings and models to ensure compliance with internal and client requirements
- Working closely with engineers and cross-functional teams to support product development and productionization
Key Skills:
- Experience within a CAD/Design position
- Experience using Autodesk Inventor or similar software
- Experience of workshop or manufacturing environments would be advantageous
- Ability to obtain clearance and right to work in the UK
