Summary: The CAD Technician role involves producing precise 2D and 3D drawings and models for the engineering industry using Autodesk software. Key Responsibilities:

  • Producing accurate 2D and 3D drawings and models using Autodesk software including Inventor, Vault and AutoCAD
  • Daily CAD administration including management of Autodesk Vault, templates, libraries and standards
  • Supporting automation and process improvement through CAD tools and scripting
  • Conducting quality reviews of drawings and models to ensure compliance with internal and client requirements
  • Working closely with engineers and cross-functional teams to support product development and productionization

Key Skills:

  • Experience within a CAD/Design position
  • Experience using Autodesk Inventor or similar software
  • Experience of workshop or manufacturing environments would be advantageous
  • Ability to obtain clearance and right to work in the UK

CAD Technician (Contract) Outside IR35 Engineering/Manufacturing Competitive day rate DoE Portsmouth
