Summary: Our client is seeking a detail-driven CAD Technician with Autodesk experience to join their rapidly growing business in the engineering industry. The role involves producing accurate 2D and 3D drawings, managing CAD administration, and supporting product development. This contract position is outside IR35 and offers a competitive hourly rate. Candidates must have the right to work in the UK and be able to obtain clearance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Producing accurate 2D and 3D drawings and models using Autodesk software including Inventor, Vault and AutoCAD
  • Daily CAD administration including management of Autodesk Vault, templates, libraries and standards
  • Supporting automation and process improvement through CAD tools and scripting
  • Conducting quality reviews of drawings and models to ensure compliance with internal and client requirements
  • Working closely with engineers and cross-functional teams to support product development and productionization

Key Skills:

  • Experience within a CAD/Design position
  • Experience using Autodesk Inventor or similar software
  • Experience of workshop or manufacturing environments would be advantageous
  • Ability to obtain clearance and right to work in the UK
