Cad Technician

Summary: The CAD Technician role focuses on producing detailed CAD drawings for solar PV systems, including single line diagrams and electrical schematics, within a well-established renewables company in Cardiff. Key Responsibilities:

• Create and modify detailed CAD drawings for solar PV systems, including single line diagrams, schematics, and general arrangements.
• Work closely with engineers and project managers to deliver accurate and timely drawings.
• Ensure all drawings comply with industry standards, client specifications, and relevant regulations.
• Update and maintain project documentation and drawing registers.
• Provide technical support to project teams where required.
• Assist with producing layouts for project proposals and tender submissions.

Key Skills:

• Proficient in AutoCAD (or equivalent CAD software).
• Previous experience producing single line diagrams and electrical schematics, ideally within the renewables or electrical sectors.
