Responsibilities
- Produce, amend and maintain CAD drawings throughout the project lifecycle
- Prepare accurate as-built drawings from site records and red-line mark-ups
- Produce construction and engineering drawings as required by the site team
- Incorporate survey information and changes made during construction
- Work closely with Site Engineers, Surveyors and other members of the project delivery team
- Maintain drawing accuracy, revision control and associated records
- Assist with drawing packages required for project completion and handover
- Support the team with temporary works and construction-related drawings where required
- Ensure CAD information is produced accurately and within required timescales
Experience Required
- Previous experience working as a CAD Technician, CAD Engineer or similar
- Strong AutoCAD capability
- Experience producing as-built drawings
- Background within civil engineering, infrastructure, highways, rail, utilities or major construction projects
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings, site mark-ups and survey information
- Good understanding of drawing revisions and document control
- Ability to work accurately while maintaining a good level of output
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work closely with site-based engineering teams
