p>We are seeking a skilled Cabling/Network Engineer to join our team at Heathrow Airport. This role involves the installation of IT containment, fibre and copper cabling, termination, testing, and active IT equipment such as end devices and Switches. The successful candidate will ensure all works are carried out in accordance with the safe working procedures stipulated by the airport.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Experience with CAT6 installation, termination, and testing.
• Proficient in the installation of IT cabling containment systems.
• Must possess an ECS specific Card and have completed an H&S test.

Desirable Skills:

• Fibre termination and testing.
• Experience with the installation of active equipment.
• Previous airport experience.
• Certifications such as IPAF, PASMA, Confined Space, First Aid, SSSTS, SMSTS.
  
  Day-to-day of the role:
• Undertake the installation of IT containment systems.
• Install, terminate, and test fibre and copper cabling.
• Set up and configure active IT equipment.
• Adhere to safety guidelines and procedures as stipulated by the airport and Fujitsu.
• Work shifts that may include early mornings, nights, and weekends as detailed below.

Working Pattern:

• Shifts include:
  • Mon-Fri 08:00 to 16:00
  • Mon-Fri 20:00 to 04:00
  • Sun-Thu 08:00 to 16:00
  • Sun-Thu 20:00 to 04:00

Additional Requirements:

• Must be able to obtain an Airside Pass.
