Key Responsibilities:
- Tracing and identifying structured cabling routes (Cat5e/6/6a and fibre)
- Assisting with auditing existing infrastructure and patching
- Inputting data accurately into spreadsheets and documentation tools
- Labelling, verifying, and reporting on connectivity
- Flagging any issues or discrepancies found during the audit
Key Skills:
- British Passport – essential for clearance
- Valid Basic DBS Certificate – dated within the last 12 months
- Experience installing or auditing structured cabling (Cat5e, Cat6, Cat6a)
- Understanding of cable routing, labelling, containment, and patching
- Fibre cabling awareness (preferred but not essential)
- Comfortable working in live technical or secure environments
- Excellent attention to detail and reporting accuracy
- Your own tools, 5-point PPE, and insurance (PL/PI)
- Valid ECS or CSCS card
