Summary: The CA Technologies Product and Solutions Consultant role requires a Security Cleared SC Contract professional to provide specialized knowledge and technical guidance on CA Technologies' solutions. The consultant will serve as a trusted advisor, ensuring successful integration and maintenance of CA products within enterprise environments. Responsibilities include implementation, troubleshooting, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to optimize CA solutions. The position demands in-depth expertise in CA products and strong analytical skills to address complex technical issues.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary technical expert for CA Technologies solutions, including CA Automic, CA APM, CA PAM, CA Service Desk, and other CA products.
- Lead and manage the implementation, configuration, and optimization of CA solutions to meet client and business needs.
- Provide expert-level troubleshooting and problem resolution for CA-related issues across various environments.
- Design and implement integrations between CA products and other enterprise systems.
- Develop automation scripts and workflows to streamline processes and improve the efficiency of CA solutions.
- Ensure CA products comply with security standards, policies, and best practices.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of CA solutions within the broader IT ecosystem.
- Maintain detailed documentation related to architecture, configurations, and troubleshooting procedures.
- Provide regular reports on system health, performance, and improvements.
Key Skills:
- In-depth experience with CA Technologies products such as CA Automic, CA APM, CA PAM, CA Service Desk, CA Identity Management, or others.
- Strong expertise in system administration for Linux, Windows, and other enterprise environments.
- Experience with automation tools such as Ansible, Puppet, or similar for the configuration and management of CA solutions.
- Proven track record in troubleshooting and resolving complex technical issues related to CA tools and integrations.
- Experience in system integration and building workflows for various enterprise solutions.
- Familiarity with ITSM frameworks and experience using CA Service Desk Manager or similar solutions.
- Excellent scripting skills for task automation, integration, and troubleshooting.
- Understanding of security best practices as applied to identity and access management within CA products.
- Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
