Summary: The role of Software Developer focuses on delivering high-performance software solutions using .NET and Azure within a leading insurance company. The position involves working on greenfield projects as part of a small development team, with opportunities for contract extension. The developer will engage in designing, developing, and maintaining scalable software systems while optimizing data handling. This hybrid role allows for a maximum of three days in the office per week.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work on greenfield projects, developing systems and services that act as a central hub for the business.
• Design, develop, and maintain high-quality, scalable, and secure software solutions using .NET and Azure.
• Optimize and manage large datasets, ensuring efficient data handling and performance.
• Develop and maintain Web APIs, ensuring seamless integration with business systems.

Key Skills:

• 4+ years of hands-on experience in .NET development with a strong focus on Azure.
• Proven experience working with large datasets and ORM frameworks.
• Solid understanding of Web API development and API technologies.
• Experience in financial services/insurance (preferred but not essential).
• Familiarity with SQL, Blazor, and message queues (advantageous).
• Excellent communication & problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to technical challenges.
