Summary: The C# .NET Developer role focuses on developing and maintaining applications for valuation, risk, and trade capture within the power and gas trading sector. The position requires strong expertise in .NET technologies and Azure, along with experience in financial services, particularly in commodities trading. The developer will work on critical applications and collaborate with teams to enhance system performance and reliability. This is a mid-level position requiring 4-12 years of relevant experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop & maintain .NET-based applications for valuation, risk, and trade capture.
- Work with Azure to optimize performance and scalability.
- Build and enhance APIs for trade capture and exchange-traded products.
- Collaborate with teams using ETRM systems (Endur + in-house platforms).
- Improve system reliability & performance in a fast-paced trading environment.
Key Skills:
- 4-12 years of experience in C# .NET development.
- Strong skills in .NET Framework, .NET Core, and WCF.
- Solid knowledge of Azure.
- Experience in financial services, particularly in commodities trading.
- Understanding of risk, valuation & trade capture systems.
- Bonus skills: JavaScript, React, Svelte.
