Summary: The C#.Net/Cloud Developer role is a 6-month contract position, likely extending to 12 months, focused on delivering development tasks with minimal supervision for a leading banking and financial services company. The developer will work primarily on a backlog of tickets, ensuring high-quality code delivery while supporting new team members. The position requires strong programming skills in C# and experience with AWS and containerization technologies. The role mandates in-office presence three days a week in London.

Key Responsibilities:

• Pick up and deliver tickets from the backlog with minimal supervision.
• Chase down requirement clarifications for poorly defined specifications.
• Support new joiners in the team as needed.
• Develop high-quality code, enhancing existing functionality.
• Ensure code is well tested to minimize defects for SIT and UAT teams.

Key Skills:

• 5+ years of experience in C# and Entity Framework.
• Experience with AWS platform and scripting infrastructure as code.
• Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, and building deployment pipelines.
• Good communication skills and ability to work independently.
• Familiarity with relational databases, SQL, PLSQL, Postgres, and Amazon RDS.
• Experience with RPGLE and CLLE is beneficial but not essential.
• Experience in broking and financial asset classes is advantageous but not essential.
