Summary: We're looking for skilled C# Developers to join our Data Modernization team in Belfast, focusing on designing and delivering scalable Back End services and data pipelines for an AWS-based data lake. The role requires strong expertise in C#, SQL, and AWS technologies. Candidates will work closely with business analysts to implement workflows that meet financial services requirements. This position is on-site three days a week for a duration of six months or more, starting as soon as possible.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain Back End services and APIs using C#, SQL, and AWS-native technologies.
- Build and enhance ETL pipelines to ingest and transform data from multiple sources into our AWS data lake.
- Work with AWS services such as Lambda, Glue, S3, and RDS to deliver secure, scalable solutions.
- Partner with business analysts to implement workflows aligned with financial services requirements.
Key Skills:
- Proven C# development experience, including API design and implementation.
- Strong skills in writing and optimizing SQL queries for large and complex datasets.
- Hands-on AWS experience (S3, Glue, Lambda, RDS or DynamoDB).
- Solid understanding of data modelling and ETL concepts.
- (Bonus) Experience in financial services or with reference, counterparty, or instrument data.
