Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the end-to-end development life cycle of WPF applications in Visual C#.NET.
  • Architect and optimize database objects and complex queries using T-SQL and PL/SQL.
  • Modernize and support legacy infrastructure, including WinForms applications and MS VBA/Excel macros.
  • Manage system distribution across Citrix and application servers.
  • Collaborate globally with DBA and Infrastructure teams to troubleshoot failures and optimize data processing.

We're working with a prestigious Tier-1 global investment bank in the heart of Canary Wharf on this exciting opportunity. Seeking a high-caliber C# Developer to spearhead the evolution of mission-critical desktop applications within an elite financial environment. You will leverage a deep tech stack including WPF, WinForms, and complex SQL/Oracle databases to deliver high-performance tools for global business units.

The Role

  • Lead the end-to-end development life cycle of WPF applications in Visual C#.NET, managing projects from initial business requirement gathering through to implementation.
  • Architect and optimize database objects and complex queries using T-SQL (SQL Server) and PL/SQL (Oracle) to support high-volume financial data analysis.
  • Modernize and support legacy infrastructure by maintaining WinForms applications and MS VBA/Excel macro-based systems essential for daily banking operations.
  • Manage system distribution across Citrix and application servers, ensuring high availability across Development, QA, Production, and Disaster Recovery environments.
  • Collaborate globally with DBA and Infrastructure teams in London and New York to troubleshoot failures and optimize data processing loads.
