The Role
As a Senior C# Developer, you'll play a key role in designing, developing and enhancing enterprise-grade applications that support critical Front Office functions.
You'll contribute to the migration towards modern event-driven architectures while collaborating closely with business users and fellow developers to deliver robust, scalable solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop and maintain high-quality C# .NET applications.
- Build scalable services within a modern event-driven architecture.
- Work closely with Front Office users to understand business requirements and deliver effective technical solutions.
- Contribute to architectural decisions and software best practices.
- Support continuous improvement across development, testing and deployment processes.
- Collaborate with international development teams in an Agile environment.
- Champion clean code, software craftsmanship and engineering excellence.
The ideal candidate will have
- Strong commercial experience with C# .NET and object-oriented programming principles.
- Excellent understanding of software design patterns and best practices.
- Strong experience building service-oriented or distributed systems.
- Advanced MS SQL development skills.
- Experience using DevOps and CI/CD tooling.
- Practical knowledge of AI-assisted software development, including enterprise use of Large Language Models (LLMs) and agentic AI engineering.
- Excellent analytical, communication and problem-solving skills.
- The ability to work both independently and collaboratively within Agile teams.
- A proactive approach with excellent attention to detail.
Financial Markets Knowledge
- Applicants should have experience in at least two of the following areas:
- Financial products (Listed and OTC)
- P&L Explain and market risk (Delta, Gamma, Theta, Vega)
- XVA (CVA, FVA, ColVA)
- Liquidity Risk (RNFB, NSFR)
- Cash Forecasting
- Balance Sheet Metrics (including Leverage Exposure)
- Pre-trade calculations and trade booking workflows
Desirable Skills
- Experience with modern front-end technologies would be advantageous, including:
- HTML
- JavaScript / TypeScript
- React
- Redux
