Overview

We are currently recruiting for a Buyer to join a well-established engineering organisation based in Warwick. This is a fantastic opportunity to support a busy procurement function within a technical, fast-paced environment.

This role will focus on placing orders, expediting materials, and managing both internal and external stakeholders to ensure operational requirements are met.

The Role

As a Buyer, you will support day-to-day procurement activity, ensuring materials are delivered in line with production demands.

Key responsibilities include:

• Placing and managing purchase orders for materials and components
• Challenging and influencing stakeholders to meet delivery timelines
• Reviewing demand and coordinating with suppliers to ensure continuity of supply
• Acting as a key point of contact for suppliers, resolving delivery and invoice queries
• Monitoring supplier performance and supporting improvements where required
• Managing inventory levels using ERP/MRP systems

Candidate Profile

Experience in a Buyer / Procurement / Materials Planning role

Background within a manufacturing or technical environment

Experience using ERP systems (SAP preferred) and MRP processes

Strong communication skills with the confidence to push back and influence stakeholders

Organised, proactive, and able to work independently

Additional Information

£250 per day

Based on-site in Warwick

Candidates must have full eligibility to work in the UK
