Summary: The Buyer/Sourcing Specialist role involves managing supplier relationships and ensuring compliance with Supplier Management Systems. The position requires leading negotiations, supporting budget planning, and resolving supplier-related issues while adhering to sourcing policies. The role is hybrid and is based in Stafford, UK. Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure all active suppliers are approved and compliant with Supplier Management Systems
• Enforce supplier strategy & Sourcing policies including management and optimization of supplier panels
• Lead negotiations and allocate needs to specific suppliers
• Support budget planning and deliver Sourcing deflation and payment targets
• Negotiate terms and conditions
• Includes commercial sourcing management such as data analysis, negotiations support, etc
• Support team to resolve Supplier issues/support any related Sourcing related execution issues
• Ensures invoices are released in accordance with the process in place

Key Skills:

• 3-5 years buying and sourcing experience
• Experienced in Indirect buying and sourcing
• CIPS or similar qualifications
