I am working with a business looking to take on a Buyer on a six month fixed term contract due to ongoing projects.. Working with a leading manufacturing business, this would be well suited to a candidate experienced in the field of procurement and purchasing. This position will provide you with the opportunity to work with a business who are working on exciting projects for a market leader.

Roles And Responsibilities

  • Project Co:ordination: Supporting the project team with scheduling, budgeting, documentation and communication. Including tracking project timelines, budgets and other related admin duties.
  • Sourcing and Supplier Relations: Identify key supplier and evaluate their capabilities : assisting with contracts and pricing where required.
  • Purchase Order Management: Creating and managing purchase orders, ensuring accuracy. Identifying and escalating risks, gaps or inconsistencies if necessary.
  • Work with Internal Project Team: Throughout the duration of the contract, the procurement project co:ordinator will work closely with the internal project team including procurement, sales, design and customer services departments.
  • Compliance: Ensuring all procurement activities comply with legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Process Improvement: Streamlining procurement processes to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
