Key Responsibilities:
- Placing orders & expediting to ensure on-time delivery of materials
- Managing MRP/MPS/SIC
- Developing strong working partnerships with suppliers
- Monitoring supplier inventory levels
- Reducing costs and lead times
Key Skills:
- Experienced Buyer with previous buying experience in an engineering/manufacturing environment
- Good knowledge of MRP - materials resource planning
- Able to read engineering drawings
- Already living in Droitwich area
Salary (Rate): £40,000 yearly

About Buyer - Engineering / Manufacturing
We require an experienced Buyer ideally with a manufacturing or engineering buying background with solid MRP experience and previous buying experience in an engineering / manufacturing environment. My client is an established global manufacturer supplying EMEA from their UK site. They have an excellent brand and employer reputation due to teamwork and valuing their employees' contributions
Package
- Fixed term contract 3+ months with possibility to become permanent
- Salary to £40K PAYE

The Role
- Placing orders & expediting, ensure on time delivery of materials
