Summary: The Business Transformation & Skills Associate at MITIH will engage with Salford-based SMEs to drive digital transformation initiatives that enhance operations and customer experiences. This role involves collaborating with senior leaders to design and implement change interventions that align with both immediate and long-term business goals. The associate will also focus on process analysis, solution design, and stakeholder engagement to ensure successful outcomes. Key Responsibilities:
- Engage with Salford-based SMEs to understand their needs, challenges, and current operations
- Design and deliver strategic workshops and initiatives that drive meaningful change
- Build trusted relationships with stakeholders, offering expert insight and constructive challenge
- Monitor progress and adapt strategies to ensure successful outcomes
- Produce high-quality reports, presentations, and communications
- Identify skills gaps and define relevant interventions to assist in the adoption of technologies and business processes
- Conduct workshops and interviews to map current processes and identify improvement opportunities
- Develop and present solutions aligned with client goals
- Collaborate with clients and tech partners to ensure smooth delivery and measurable results
- Support stakeholders through change and training on new systems/processes
- Build strong relationships and maintain open, effective communication
- Define KPIs and track the success of transformation initiatives
- Foster a culture of innovation and ongoing improvement
Key Skills:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a solid understanding of digital technologies and associated skills
- Excellent communication and storytelling abilities, especially in PowerPoint
- Confident engaging with stakeholders at all levels

- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required
- 5+ years of experience in business analysis, consulting, or transformation roles small and medium size enterprises (SMEs)

- Relevant certifications (e.g., ITIL, Six Sigma, Lean, CBPM) are a plus

- Data Transformation – Enhancing data capabilities to drive insight-led decision-making
- Business Model Transformation – Evolving business models to meet changing market demands
