Business Transformation and Skills Associate

MITIH is seeking a dynamic and driven Business Transformation & Skills Associate to join our team at MediaCity. In this pivotal role, you will work closely with Salford-based SMEs, providing expert guidance to shape and deliver digital transformation initiatives that drive measurable impact. You’ll collaborate with senior leaders and executives to design and implement tailored change interventions that align with both immediate goals and long-term ambitions. Your work will span across:

• Digital Transformation – Leveraging technology to enhance operations, customer experience, and business models
• Business Process Transformation – Streamlining operations to boost efficiency and customer satisfaction
• Data Transformation – Enhancing data capabilities to drive insight-led decision-making
• Business Model Transformation – Evolving business models to meet changing market demands

Key Responsibilities

• Engage with Salford-based SMEs to understand their needs, challenges, and current operations
• Design and deliver strategic workshops and initiatives that drive meaningful change
• Build trusted relationships with stakeholders, offering expert insight and constructive challenge
• Monitor progress and adapt strategies to ensure successful outcomes
• Produce high-quality reports, presentations, and communications
• Identifying skills gaps and defining relevant interventions to assist in the adoption of technologies and business processes

What You’ll Be Doing

• Process Analysis – Conduct workshops and interviews to map current processes and identify improvement opportunities
• Solution Design – Develop and present solutions aligned with client goals
• Implementation Support – Collaborate with clients and tech partners to ensure smooth delivery and measurable results
• Change Management & Training – Support stakeholders through change and training on new systems/processes
• Stakeholder Engagement – Build strong relationships and maintain open, effective communication
• Performance Measurement – Define KPIs and track the success of transformation initiatives
• Continuous Improvement – Foster a culture of innovation and ongoing improvement

• Collaborative, team-oriented mindset
• Eagerness to mentor, grow, and take on new challenges
• Familiarity with change management and business process improvement tools

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required
• 5+ years of experience in business analysis, consulting, or transformation roles small and medium size enterprises (SMEs)
• Proven experience in digital transformation projects
• Relevant certifications (e.g., ITIL, Six Sigma, Lean, CBPM) are a plus
