Key Responsibilities:
- Define and develop business cases and implementation plans.
- Monitor and control project progress, identifying risks and issues.
- Track project costs and confirm benefits and associated KPIs.
- Coordinate risk and compliance's multi-year transformation agenda.
- Provide structured project governance to enable clear progress.
- Ensure regular steering committees, workstreams, and workshops.
- Support the wider Enterprise Risk and Risk Infrastructure team.
- Manage a complex multi-year transformation schedule.
Key Skills:
- Experience with full end-to-end planning and implementation of business transformation strategy.
- Ability to oversee changing strategic implementation across transformation programmes.

Lorien's leading banking client is looking for a Business Transformation Analyst join a new expanding team. This role will have you supporting the Division of Strategic Planning on a newly starting long-term transformation project that will be under NDA.
This role will define and develop Business Cases and implementation plans, working with project governance and stakeholders to ensure outcomes that align to strategic objectives. The role will proactively monitor and control project progress to plan, including identifying risks and issues, tracking project costs, and confirming benefits and associated KPIs.
This role is based in Edinburgh, Glasgow, or Milton Keynes.
This role will be Via Umbrella.
Working in a Hybrid Model of 3 days a week on site.
Key Skills and Experience
- Experience needed with Full End-To-End Planning, Consultation, Implementation of Business Transformation Strategy.
- Experience with changing Strategic Implementation as it Develops, Overseeing the Implementation across Transformation Programmes.
- Experienced in managing a suite of transformation initiatives such as KPI's.
- Experienced in dealing with Internal and Senior Stakeholders that lead up to C-level.
- Coordinates Risk and Compliance's multi-year transformation agenda across a number of complex and high priority initiatives from inception through to delivery, monitoring progress and identifying potential overlaps and conflicts.
- Provides a structure of concise project governance that enables progress-at-pace in a clear and standardised manner as well as actively identifying and mitigating emerging risks
- Ensuring a regular cadence of steering committees, workstreams and workshops as required, delivering a structured and sustainable mechanism for tracking and measuring the value generated by the transformation
- Supporting the wider Enterprise Risk and Risk Infrastructure team by actively sharing knowledge and best practice to create a best-in-class project hub 5. Managing a complex multi-year transformation schedule through the application of strong business analyst skills providing a well governed and robust centralised planning function.
