Key Responsibilities:

- Support meetings by booking venues, managing attendance, and distributing papers.
- Assist with financial order processing, including setting up orders and handling payments.
Key Skills:
- Knowledge of financial processes including cash handling and accounts payable/receivable.
- Good understanding of Health, Adults & Community Services and associated legislation.
- Knowledge of office procedures and administrative systems.
- Understanding of Local Authorities’ responsibilities regarding sensitive information security.

Undertake day to day administrative tasks including filing, word-processing, data entry and other general administrative duties.
Deal with routine correspondence and telephone contact, dealing with clients in a professional manner.
Operate available IT systems and make use of existing technology to its full potential to facilitate the effective execution of duties.
Maintain and update databases and relevant IT systems, inputting data, extracting information and producing reports on a regular or ad hoc basis.
Ensure full compliance with GDPR policy and process following procedures for the correct recording, updating, reviewing and deleting of personal data in all data processing undertaken by the role-holder.
Maintain effective filing and archiving systems, ensuring full traceability of files and records at all times.
Promptly record, distribute and/or scan inward correspondence; promptly despatch and record outward correspondence.
Cover as required at receptions and helpdesks, working as a team to ensure cover throughout business hours, providing a welcoming environment.
Support meetings as directed including the booking of venues, issuing of invitations, managing attendance lists, collating and distributing papers, taking notes and distributing minutes.
Assist with the processing of financial orders as required, including setting up orders, processing payments and dealing with payment enquiries.
Knowledge
- Knowledge of financial processes including handling of cash and cash equivalents, accounts payable and receivable, procurement systems and procedures.
- Good working knowledge and understanding of services provided with Health, Adults & Community Services and associated legislation
