About the customer:
This is an initial 12 month contract with start date by January 2026 (with likely extension up to max 5 years).
The BO Consultant will work in a small and diverse team and will take on a varied role supporting business areas, analysing requirements and building reports. The duties involve everything from helping users with little knowledge and experience with the tool, to dealing with experts as well as supporting, developing and enhancing of existing reports. Business Objects is used to produce reports for all the business areas of the Bank and there are over 1200 reports in the system. There has been a recent upgrade to the new version of Business Objects (BO 4.3).
The purpose of this role is to:
- Provide all aspects of Business Objects development and support to our users here at the bank
- Report creation/modification, universe creation/modification.
- The candidate must be adaptable and willing to work the occasional weekend or bank holiday for system changes/testing outside of normal working hours.
