Business Manager

Summary: The Business Manager role involves overseeing business management systems, performance reporting, and resource management for a public sector client in Edinburgh. Key Responsibilities:

• Developing and maintaining effective business management systems including performance reporting, business planning, risk management, and resourcing programme for performance audit.
• Supporting business group leadership teams and representing them in key corporate forums.
• Overseeing management of data and systems for accurate and timely performance reporting.
• Supporting the development of resourcing processes across the business group.
• Scheduling and supporting key meetings to gather insights for future audit work.
• Monitoring delivery of the dynamic work programme and developing processes in response to challenges.
• Presenting key performance information to support business group objectives.
• Identifying opportunities for efficiencies and improved sharing of audit intelligence.

• Proven experience in a corporate strategy or lead business management role.
• Experience in developing, implementing, and maintaining performance reporting and risk management systems.
