Summary: In the role of Business Intelligence Lead at Canon Global Services, you will collaborate with teams globally to provide business insights for customers and internal stakeholders. Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide Global Services customer and Sales insights into existing business.
  • Own reporting shared with Canon Global Services stakeholders.
  • Collate, review, and analyze data from multiple internal and external sources.
  • Critically evaluate and screen data to identify issues and support data cleansing rules.
  • Manage timely flow of business intelligence information to users.
  • Generate insights for Global Services to enhance business performance.
  • Use business intelligence tools to generate reports summarizing business data.
  • Provide historical, current, and predictive insights in business performance.
  • Identify and monitor current & potential customers using business intelligence tools.
  • Analyze contract/customer data to improve Sales within existing accounts.
  • Create policies and procedures for collating and analyzing data.
  • Maintain or update business intelligence tools and systems.
  • Conduct periodic evaluations of provided output to ensure consistency with user needs.
  • Support IT development of data analysis and reporting solutions.

Job Purpose and Summary

In the role of Canon Global Services Business Intelligence Specialist, you will be responsible to work with teams in our European HQ and across the world to provide business insights for all the Global and International Customers, and internal Stakeholders. Canon Global Services is a growing division operating in a dynamic environment and the Global Business Intelligence Lead is expected to utilise all available data form to support existing customers and internal decision making in driving the growth of the Global Service Division.

What we ask

  • Provides Global Services customer and Sales insights into existing business
  • Owns reporting being shared with Canon Global Services stakeholders (Customers, Management, Sales, Service)
  • Collating, reviewing and analysing data from multiple internal and external sources;
  • Critically evaluating and screening data, plus profiling to identify any issues, support development of data cleansing rules (to be implemented by owner(s) of data sources);
  • Manages timely flow of business intelligence information to external and internal users.
  • Generates insights for Global Services to enhance business performance
  • Use all available data and business intelligence (CRS, SFDC, Canon PowerBI) to generate standard or custom reports summarizing business, financial, or economic data for review by Management, Customers and other stakeholders in Power BI;
  • Provide historical, current and predictive insights in business performance;
  • Identify and monitor current & potential customers, using business intelligence tools;
  • Analyse contract/customer data to identify areas to improve Sales within existing account base.
  • Process ownership of business intelligence process and output
  • Creating policies and procedures regarding collating and analysing data to ensure roles & responsibilities are clearly defined;
  • Maintain or update business intelligence tools, databases, dashboards, systems, or methods;
  • Conduct or coordinate periodic evaluation of provided output to ensure that intelligence is consistent with defined needs by users, communicating analysis results and making recommendations to management (ensure continuous development);
  • Extending knowledge of Business Intelligence to provide ongoing refinement of processes to improve operations and output;
  • Supporting (IT) development of BU data analysis and reporting solutions.

You will need

Role would be on a fixed term basis for Maternity cover of 12 months. Based at our office in Stockley Park, near Uxbridge for 3 days per week and 2 days working from home
