Summary: The Business Development Manager at Churchill Environmental Services will focus on expanding business opportunities in water hygiene and treatment across the Southern Contracts region, including the Midlands, London, and Gloucester. Key Responsibilities:
- Identify bid and tender opportunities to develop a substantial sales pipeline of approximately £2 million per year.
- Build and maintain strong business relationships through a consultative sales approach, aiming to meet and exceed revenue and profitability targets.
- Represent Churchill Environmental Services at client meetings and through broader sales and marketing initiatives.
- Collaborate with the group bid team to produce high-quality tender submissions.
- Manage the full sales cycle: from lead generation to pitching, negotiating, closing, and handover to operations.
- Maintain a strong focus on detail, ensuring all opportunities are explored and maximised.
Key Skills:
- At least five years' experience in water hygiene and legionella control sales.
- Proven success in bid writing and securing contracts within both public and commercial sectors.
- Experience in both new business development and account management.
- Strong understanding of the sales process.
- A full, clean UK driving licence and flexibility to travel within the specified region.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with internal teams and external partners.
- Familiarity with CRM tools or field service management systems is desirable.
