Summary: The Business Development Manager - AV Sales at Ricoh will focus on developing a pipeline of international Audio-Visual Communication Services (AVCS) opportunities through new and existing accounts, primarily within the DACH region. Key Responsibilities:
- Develop a pipeline of international AVCS opportunities through new and existing accounts.
- Assist local OpCos in strategic sales opportunities with a view to international development.
- Proactively identify potential new Audio-Visual business opportunities within EMEA.
- Identify and manage a strong pipeline of potential new clients.
- Produce and commit to a reliable Sales Forecast.
- Promote the AV value propositions within the target portfolio Operating Companies.
- Coordinate multi-country tender responses.
- Work with Pre-sales, Operations, Business support, Finance, HR, and IT where appropriate.
- Prepare and present high-quality client proposals to develop new business in line with the Company sales strategy.
- Close and win new contracts to achieve and exceed sales targets.
- Effectively promote Ricoh CS within your existing professional network.
- Achieve and exceed assigned Revenue & GP Targets.
- Maximise profit within the defined accounts.
- Hunt and close multi-country deals.
- Coordinate all resources (pre-sales, business support, and Finance) to return effective bid responses.
- Build relationships and coordinate with all relevant OpCo stakeholders to drive one Ricoh mentality.
- Coordinate effectively with in-country sales teams.
- Develop and direct professional bids for new business sales opportunities.
- Provide timely and accurate management information for future business forecasting.
- Help develop marketing materials to assist in driving awareness of CS propositions.
- Propose new GTM initiatives to senior management.
- Provide end-to-end solution and design guidelines.
- Manage effective System Integrators/Vendors/Partner relationships.
- Generate pipeline and grow wallet share in CS.
- Provide reliable forecast with a strong forecast accuracy.
- Build a senior and operational network within the customer's organization.
- Build a deep understanding of the customer’s business and Industry.
- Manage Customer feedback and conduct regular Business Reviews.
- Turn customers into advocates to support the wider Ricoh Business.
Key Skills:
- Proven experience in a targeted environment in an international context, preferably with an Audio-Visual solutions background.
- Graduate calibre or equivalent qualification in any discipline.
- Proven background in a similar role in AV Sales or AV Consultancy.
- Fluency in English and ideally German, with any other language skill a distinct advantage.
- Good understanding and experience of designing and selling Audio Visual services and solutions to large blue-chip companies.
- Ability to introduce a value Proposition at “C level.”
- Experience managing longer sales cycles in large accounts, including negotiation and influencing skills up to “C level.”
- Excellent presentation skills – able to communicate at all levels using a variety of means.
- Excellent knowledge and understanding of commercial, financial, and contractual relationships with customers.
- Able to work within a project team, fostering a good teamwork ethos.
- Experience on multiple Hardware and Software platforms and comfortable with complex AV system environments.
