Summary: The Business Development Executive role at Tide involves direct engagement with prospective leads to convert them into members of the business management platform. Key Responsibilities:
- Engage directly with prospective leads face-to-face, either door-to-door or at events
- Convert prospects who have downloaded the Tide app but haven't completed sign-up into full members
- Guide potential members through the signup process and answer their questions
- Upsell other Tide services and products that could benefit members
- Collaborate with the KYC team to ensure correct documentation from members
- Contact existing members to build rapport and upsell relevant products
- Source own leads and convert them into active members
- Coach leads through the setup process, providing excellent service
- Support partners by onboarding new members from various locations
- Be comfortable with cold calling, emailing, and outreach
Key Skills:
- Previous experience in a fast-paced fintech or sales environment
- Experience in face-to-face sales or telesales with a proven track record
- Entrepreneurial and self-starter mentality
- Excellent objection handling skills
- Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills in English
- Experience with CRM systems like Zendesk
- Passion for supporting small businesses and interest in fintech products
- Able to manage changing priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Positive attitude with strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently
