Data Business Analyst - InsuranceAbout the Role:We are seeking a proactive Business Data Analyst to bridge the current gap in documentation and enhance communication across teams.You will work closely with developers, engineers, and business stakeholders (underwriting, risk, claims etc) to document data dependencies, understand data sources, and contribute to the redesign of data engineering processes.You will play a pivotal role in providing structure to development efforts, capturing actions, and ensuring clear communication throughout.This is a business facing role, insurance experience is key and the ask is for 3 days per week in the office.6-month initial contract, 600 - 700 per day, outside IR35.Key Responsibilities: Collaborate with developers and engineers to analyse data dependencies and enhance data set structures. Document data sources, engineering patterns, and testing requirements to create a comprehensive knowledge base. Develop and maintain Miro boards or similar tools to visually represent processes and extract key information. Lead developers by facilitating a structured narrative around project delivery, translating technical details into actionable insights. Support the redesign efforts of daily data load processes and communicate the impact of these changes on business capabilities. Engage with nearshore teams as needed to align on project objectives and provide direction.Technical Skills: Experience with creating visual documentation using Miro or similar tools. SQL skills for querying data. Experience with solution design, documentation, or reengineering processes. Familiarity with GitHub or other source control tools to navigate and review complex documentation.
