Summary: You will be joining a leading organisation in the Risk & Assurance sector as a Business Continuity Manager, focusing on enhancing the risk maturity of the company. This role involves managing the Business Continuity Framework for a major client account, ensuring resilience and effective crisis response. The position requires current SC Clearance and offers opportunities to influence Business Continuity practices across the organisation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and embed a consistent approach to managing the Business Continuity Framework.
- Ensure resilience, readiness, and effective crisis response across the organisation.
- Shape and evolve Business Continuity practices to ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Drive the operational resilience agenda and lead critical exercises.
- Act as a subject matter expert in bids, audits, and major programmes of work.
Key Skills:
- Core expertise in Business Continuity Management.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- In-depth knowledge of Good Practice Guidelines and BCM best practice.
- Ability to adapt to internal and external drivers impacting the Business Continuity Framework.
- Strong relationship management and collaboration skills.
- Statutory membership of the BCI.
- Good understanding of regulation, policy, and standards within Financial Services.
- Working knowledge of IT controls, risk management, ISO standards, and risk frameworks.
- Preferably, experience in Business Continuity within Financial Services (Life & Pensions).
- Existing SC Clearance essential.
