Summary: The role of Business Continuity & Incident Management Consultant involves supporting the delivery of a critical Resilience Improvement Plan for a leading organization. This hands-on position focuses on enhancing operational resilience, business continuity frameworks, and incident management capabilities. The consultant will work on-site in Swindon for two days a week over an initial three-month contract. The position is classified as outside IR35 with a competitive daily rate.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop IBS methodology and conduct IBS assessments.
- Perform exercising and testing, including Disaster Recovery.
- Review BIA and BCP, and develop BC/IM policy and framework.
- Identify critical processes and systems.
- Enhance crisis management structures and policies.
- Strengthen BC & IM governance and manage crisis communications.
Key Skills:
- Strong knowledge of ISO 22301 (BC) and ISO 22361 (IM).
- Business Continuity qualification essential.
- Expertise in training, facilitation, communication, and influencing.
- Project and change management skills.
- Analytical and strategic thinking abilities.
- Stakeholder engagement experience.
- Policy and documentation development skills.
