Summary: An experienced Business Continuity and Crisis Management Consultant is sought for a 3 to 6-month contract to develop and implement a comprehensive continuity and crisis framework for a leading UK retailer. The role requires collaboration across various business functions, including Technology, Supply Chain, and Digital. The consultant will lead assessments, facilitate workshops, and create strategic plans to enhance operational resilience. This position is hybrid, based in London or Leicester, with an immediate start date.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development of Business Impact Assessments (BIAs) and business continuity risk assessments across key business functions
  • Facilitate cross-functional workshops and working groups to gather inputs and drive alignment
  • Create a comprehensive Business Continuity Strategy and Policy
  • Develop robust Business Continuity Plans, using insights from BIAs and risk assessments
  • Collaborate with the Disaster Recovery team to align on RTO/RPO requirements
  • Support the design and delivery of Crisis Management Plans, including scenario testing

Key Skills:

  • Proven experience in designing and managing business continuity and crisis management frameworks
  • Comfortable working with senior stakeholders and executive teams
  • Strong facilitation and communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word
