Summary: The role of Business Continuity SME involves developing and maintaining operational resilience plans for critical policing services within a major central government organization. The position is hybrid and requires candidates to have active SC and NPPV3 clearance. The contract is initially for 6 months and focuses on supporting major incident readiness and conducting risk assessments. Candidates will also design and deliver resilience exercises in alignment with established governance requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Developing and maintaining continuity and resilience plans for critical policing services and systems.
- Supporting major incident readiness and Gold-Silver-Bronze structures through planning and exercises.
- Conducting risk and threat assessments to identify vulnerabilities and service dependencies.
- Designing and delivering resilience exercises and multi-agency simulations aligned to JESIP.
- Applying the Civil Contingencies Act, NPCC guidance, and force resilience governance requirements.
Key Skills:
- Active SC & NPPV3 clearance.
