Business Consultant - Incident Management
My Client is a Global Bank based in London; they are looking for a contract Business Consultant (Incident Management).
Based in London/Sheffield/Birmingham/Leeds or Chester. 2-3 days a week in the office. Contract until end of November 2026 (potential extension). They are ideally looking for someone who is immediately available.
Rate is up to £975 per day.
Key skills:
- Change & Transformation specialist with strong experience in Incident Management and technology-enabled transformation
- Strong understanding of technology tooling and technical capabilities, with experience reviewing, evaluating and implementing significant change
- Proven ability to define functional requirements and user needs, translating business requirements into effective technology solutions
- Hands-on experience across discovery and evaluation phases, including interviewing Product Owners and Incident Management teams to assess current capabilities and future requirements
- Experience developing business cases and implementation/rollout plans for transformation initiatives
- Financial Services experience desirable
Responsibilities:
- Define an Enterprise Incident Management Tooling Target Operating Model (TOM)
- Develop an evidence-based business case for an enterprise-wide Incident Command Centre
- Assess tooling requirements across Technology, Cyber, Business, Operational, Financial, Third-Party, Data, Risk, CCO and other incident domains
- Deliver a comprehensive Current State Assessment of existing incident management tooling and capabilities
- Develop target-state tooling options, recommendations and operating model
- Create a phased implementation roadmap aligned to the wider Enterprise Incident Management Framework
- Support the development of the business case and future operating model for a bank-wide Incident Command Centre
