Summary: The Business Consultant role involves leading consulting engagements within Medical Affairs, Regulatory, and Commercial IT, focusing on translating business goals into actionable strategies. The position requires deep domain knowledge in the Medical/Pharma space to guide platform configuration and process redesign while partnering with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and value delivery. The consultant will also contribute to strategic planning and change management in technology and process implementation. This hybrid role is based in London or Manchester, UK.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead business consulting engagements within Medical Affairs, Regulatory, and Commercial IT.
  • Translate business goals into actionable strategies.
  • Serve as a strategic advisor on content management, medical compliance, digital transformation, and customer engagement platforms.
  • Guide platform configuration, process redesign, and solution architecture.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure business alignment and value delivery.
  • Provide business leadership across key platforms including Veeva Vault, Salesforce Health Cloud, and Adobe Experience Manager.
  • Support niche platform utilization such as Docuvera and iEnvision.
  • Contribute to strategic planning, change management, and training in the medical domain.
  • Maintain a stable consulting team and facilitate ongoing upskilling and documentation.

Key Skills:

  • 10+ years of experience in business consulting or solution advisory roles.
  • Significant exposure to the medical, life sciences, or pharmaceutical industry.
  • Knowledge of regulatory processes and compliance frameworks (GxP, HIPAA, ABPI).
  • Experience with Veeva Vault Medical Suite, Salesforce, and Adobe Experience tools.
  • Familiarity with AWS cloud strategy and data handling.
  • Strong facilitation skills and experience conducting stakeholder workshops.
  • Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects across global teams.
  • Excellent communication, documentation, and interpersonal skills.
