Business Change Manager/Lead

Contract: Day-rate contract

We are seeking an experienced Business Change Manager/Lead to support a major, multi-workstream transformation programme within a growing, purpose-driven organisation.
This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on change professional to lead business readiness, stakeholder engagement and adoption activity across a complex programme involving technology, business processes, data, operations and the transition into live service.
The successful candidate will be comfortable operating in a fast-paced, evolving environment, bringing structure and momentum while ensuring changes are successfully Embedded across the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain an integrated business change plan aligned with programme milestones, releases and go-live dates.
- Conduct change impact assessments across people, processes, technology, data and ways of working.
- Lead business readiness reviews, manage risks and ensure appropriate preparation ahead of go-live.
- Coordinate business handover, transition and post-implementation stabilisation activities.
- Develop and deliver training-needs analyses, training plans and supporting materials.
- Create stakeholder engagement and communications plans to drive awareness, understanding and adoption.
- Work closely with senior stakeholders, project teams and operational teams to embed new processes and capabilities.
- Apply practical change management methodologies, including PROSCI principles, across Agile, Waterfall and hybrid delivery environments.
Essential Experience
- Proven experience leading business change across complex programmes or portfolios.
- Strong background in change planning, impact assessments, business readiness and operational transition.
- Experience developing training, communications and stakeholder engagement plans.
- A hands-on delivery approach, with the ability to personally produce key change deliverables and drive actions through to completion.
- Experience working in fast-paced or evolving environments where processes and team structures are still developing.
- Practical knowledge of PROSCI and experience working across Agile and Waterfall delivery methodologies.
- Excellent stakeholder management, facilitation and communication skills.
