Business Change Manager

The Role:

Our client looking for a Business Change Manager/Change professional with strong experience in pipeline, portfolio or demand management within complex organisations. The successful candidate will own and manage a Defence AI Discovery Pathway, ensuring that demand is captured, assessed, prioritised and developed into clear, decision-ready opportunities aligned to strategic priorities.

The role will involve managing a single authoritative pipeline of opportunities and requests, ensuring demand is properly captured, tracked and prioritised. You will need to be comfortable taking fragmented or ambiguous requirements and turning them into clear themes, defined problem statements and evidence-based opportunities that can progress into prioritisation, commissioning or delivery.

Key Experience Required:

• Experience in pipeline, portfolio, demand or opportunity management within complex organisations.
• Proven experience designing and operating structured intake, triage and discovery processes.
• Ability to take ambiguous, fragmented or competing demands and turn them into clear, structured and decision-ready problem statements.
• Experience working across engagement, insight and delivery functions.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, including engagement with senior stakeholders and leaders.
• Experience applying prioritisation frameworks and supporting evidence-based decision-making.
• Ability to manage and continuously improve structured discovery pathways and processes.
• Experience ensuring opportunities are clearly defined, evidence-based and aligned with strategic outcomes and user needs.
• AI awareness is desirable, but in-depth AI technical knowledge is not required.
