Business Architect

Summary: The Business Architect will be responsible for shaping and planning digital business roadmaps that align with SGN's objectives, ensuring the integrity of the Operating Model while managing senior relationships. This role involves facilitating investment in technology and process changes, ensuring alignment with business strategy, and delivering value for money. The position requires a blend of extensive experience in IT and business systems, along with strong stakeholder management skills. The role is part of a 2-year fixed-term contract aimed at enhancing safety and comfort in the community.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage digital business roadmaps and facilitate investment in people, process, and technology changes.
• Ensure investments align with business strategy and meet the needs of business customers.
• Facilitate experimentation and innovation activities as relevant.
• Ensure seamless design integration across multiple operating models for different business functions.
• Act as a central point of contact to ensure consistency and alignment across all operating model designs.

Key Skills:

• Over 10 years of experience in IT or a business system-related role.
• Understanding of budgetary, procurement, and legal procedures.
• Knowledge of Business Architecture and Business Analysis methods, procedures, standards, and tools.
• Detailed knowledge of the software development and project lifecycle.
• Experience managing stakeholders at all levels.
• Line management, coaching, and mentoring experience.
• Account Management / Relationship Management experience.
• Business consultancy experience (internal or external).
• High attention to detail and good interpersonal skills.
• Collaborative team player with leadership and influencing ability.
• Confident to challenge and influence at all levels.
• Systematic, disciplined, and analytical approach to problem-solving.
• Ability to transform complex information into clear and concise points.
• Valid driving licence and willingness to travel.
