Key Responsibilities:
- Define current and target-state operating models, including business capabilities, value streams, processes, and organisational impacts.
- Design and evaluate customer journeys and service models for pensions and investments.
- Support investment cases, option analysis, and transition trade-offs, working closely with finance, risk, and programme leadership.
- Ensure designs incorporate risk management, regulatory compliance, and business controls.
- Produce clear architecture artefacts, such as capability models, BPMN, and value streams, to support governance and delivery.
- Communicate complex changes clearly with senior leaders and delivery teams, turning ambiguity into actionable decisions.
Key Skills:
- Experience in business architecture, enterprise design, or strategic business analysis.
- Strong capability in financial modelling, investment analysis, and option evaluation.

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Architect to join our Central Architecture Function on a 6-month contract. The position is predominantly based in Edinburgh, with the option of working in Manchester, and follows a hybrid working model. As part of the Group Architecture team, you will report to the Principal Architect and Head of Business Architecture.
