A Financial Services Company, based in the City of London, is currently seeking a Business Architect to join their team. Please note this would be an initial 12 month Fixed Term contract, with the potential to go permanent in the future. This would be working within a centralised Business Architect function, aligned to centre of excellence, deployed into projects when required and not operating within a specific department. The business architect will be responsible for translating strategy into target operating models utilising repeatable industry standard techniques, and also providing formal design governance, assuring any business change activity is in line with intended design. This will include structuring the enterprise in terms of its governance, business processes, and business information, and making decisions regarding customers, products, partner network and organisation structure. There is lots of autonomy within the position, scoping out projects, landscape and capabilities, as well as building target operating models. The Business Architect will also work part of a team on bigger strategic pieces of work, within a very collaborative team.
Requirements; A broad, enterprise-wide view of business and varying degrees of appreciation for strategy, processes and capabilities, enabling technologies, and governance A background in Financial Services would be beneficial, but not essential The ability to recognize structural issues within the organization, functional interdependencies and cross-silo redundancies.
