Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, document, analyse, and prioritise business requirements.
- Prepare detailed documentation, including business requirements, process flows, and user guides.
- Translate business requirements into functional and non-functional scope to create specification for solutions.
- Research to identify potential solutions; testing the market through an RFI or RFP process; evaluation of proposals against the original requirements to ensure capability of delivering the business benefit.
- Conduct data analysis to support decision-making and identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
- Assist the project team in the planning, execution, and monitoring of projects to ensure they are delivered on time and within scope.
- Maintain clear and effective communication with stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
- Identify and recommend improvements to business processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Key Skills:
- Demonstrable experience as a Business Analyst.
- Experience in process modelling and mapping.
- Familiarity with data analysis tools (e.g., SQL, Excel) and Business Intelligence applications.
- Exposure to working within a regulated or Financial Services organisation.
- Experience in managing projects or working within project teams.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools and software (e.g., Excel, SQL).
- Knowledge of banking regulations and compliance.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Project management skills are a plus.
