Summary: The role of Transfer Agency Business Analyst involves supporting an asset management client in a change and transformation initiative within Transfer Agency operations. The successful candidate will analyze current processes, document requirements, and collaborate with operational and technology stakeholders. This position is a 6-month contract with a hybrid working arrangement, requiring two days per week onsite. Key Responsibilities:
- Act as a Business Analyst within Transfer Agency change initiatives (operations, technology or regulatory driven)
- Elicit, analyse and document business requirements using appropriate BA techniques
- Map and document end-to-end Transfer Agency processes (eg dealing, registration, distributions, AML/KYC, pricing, settlements)
- Support process optimisation, target operating model design and gap analysis
- Facilitate workshops, stakeholder interviews and working sessions
- Produce standard BA artefacts such as:
- Business Requirements Documents (BRDs)
- Functional Requirements/User Stories
- Process flows and swimlane diagrams
- Use cases and impact assessments
- Work closely with technology teams, vendors and operations to support solution design and delivery
- Support UAT planning, execution and defect triage where required
- Provide regular status updates and contribute to governance and reporting
Key Skills:
- Proven Experience as a Business Analyst within Transfer Agency (asset management context is essential)
- Strong understanding of TA functions and operating models
- Experience working on change programmes within asset or wealth management
- Strong requirements gathering and documentation skills
- Ability to communicate effectively with both business and technical stakeholders
- Experience working in consulting or client-facing environments preferred
- Comfortable working onsite with clients as part of a hybrid delivery model

Overview
We are working on behalf of our consulting partner who is supporting an asset management client on a change and transformation initiative within Transfer Agency operations. We are seeking an experienced Transfer Agency Business Analyst to join the delivery team on a 6-month contract, working closely with the end client's operational and technology stakeholders.
The role will focus on analysing current-state TA processes, supporting change initiatives, and ensuring clear, well-documented requirements and outcomes across business and technology teams.
