Summary: The Business Analyst role focuses on optimizing processes and systems within Transfer Agency and Fund Administration, collaborating with internal teams and clients to enhance operational efficiency, compliance, and risk management. Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document business requirements for Transfer Agency and Fund Administration processes.
  • Analyze business processes and identify opportunities for improvement in Transfer Agency and Fund Administration.
  • Develop functional and technical specifications to support new fund launches or enhancements.
  • Participate in project planning and execution, ensuring alignment with business requirements.
  • Identify and propose process optimization opportunities in workflows.
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations related to Transfer Agency and Fund Administration.
  • Analyze data to derive insights for business improvements and prepare reports for management.
  • Foster relationships with internal teams and external clients to meet business needs.
  • Assist with the development and rollout of new products and services.

Key Skills:

  • 3-5 years of experience as a Business Analyst in financial services, focusing on Transfer Agency and/or Fund Administration.
  • Strong understanding of Transfer Agency operations and Fund Administration functions.
  • Knowledge of industry regulations such as AML, KYC, FATCA, and CRS.
  • Experience with securities services and financial markets infrastructure.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools, particularly Excel.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or related field (desirable).
  • Familiarity with Transfer Agency and Fund Administration systems (desirable).
  • Knowledge of Agile methodologies and project management tools (desirable).
